VINTAGE WILLIE HOPPE CUE
ALL ORIGINAL

Here is an original old Brunswick Willie Hoppe cue from the 60s or so.  I remember these cues when they were sold in pool rooms across the country for just under $30.  Brunswick made this cue and the Willie Mosconi model, which was the cheaper of the two and sold for only $18.  The Hoppe was the one everybody wanted.

It still has the original sticker on it, in very good condition.  And it has very pretty veneer colors, and they're in good shape.

This one is in okay condition, considered its approximately 60 years old and was probably someone's everyday player.  It shows wear and age, but is all original and definitely an antique.

The stamped Hoppe "signature" and the weight are all still very visible.

It's not particularly straight, but none of these are.  The facings and the construction of these joints were terrible, and if you found one that was straight, it was mostly by accident.  But they are typical of most of the old cues that were built at the time.  Today they have strictly antique value.

This one comes in a piano-style case (not antique), which is likely to be the way it would have been stored and carried at the time.

If you can find one of these in good shape in the original cardboard tube in which they were sold, they go for around $1000.  I'm selling this one for $500 (NOW $400) plus shipping.
