Recollection Cues

Collectible Cues, Cases & Quality Players

Josh Treadway has been building cues for quite a few years now and has firmly established himself as one of the best.  He makes cues in all price ranges, but I'm glad he's still taking the time to make basic cues for players on a slimmer budget.  His merry widows are always pretty and play great.

He built this one from a nice piece of Padauk wood that has nice grain and color.  It's a basic design - a merry widow with some nice ringwork to dress it up.  It's pretty, but it's real value is in its great hit.

He puts a nice textured leather wrap on it that accentuates the nice tone of the wood.  It feels good in the hand and looks great on the cue.

He builds it with a flat-faced wood-to-wood joint with a stainless steel radial pin.  He uses a black delrin butt cap with matching black joint.  He uses a delrin sleeve over a wood core that insure a soft yet solid hit.  It's a sure fire combination for a good solid hitting cue.

This cue comes with two 13mm shafts of top quality maple with Juma ferrules and LePro tips.  It weighs 18.6 ounces.

NOTE:  I have discounted this cue $50 because one of the shafts has some sugar marks in the grain. This is completely a cosmetic thing and has no effect on play.  (See pics below.)
