Here's a very traditional, no frills cue from the shop of Josh Treadway. He continues to build great playing cues for players, and although he is making more and more "high end" sticks, he still enjoys building simple cues for everyday players.

He keeps everything basic on this one - six points of ebony with two veneers, and a Hoppe-style butt sleeve, all in ebony and hard rock maple.

The ebony is super clean, and the maple has nice color with lots of "birds eyes."

The points are long, even and very sharp.

He makes the white Hoppe ring out of elforyn, and engraves his logo in it.

He adds a nicely textured black leather wrap, applied perfectly with a hard to find seam. He's one of the best in the business in finishing leather wraps.

He keeps the veneers simple - one black and one white, nicely framing the long ebony prongs.

He adds a nice set of rings at the joint, and on the ring collars of the shafts. They're made from alternating squares of ebony and elforyn isolated between two silver rings.

It is built with a stainless steel radial pin in a flat-faced joint. It comes with two 13mm premium maple shafts with elforyn ferrules and tips. It weighs 18.6 ounces and is 58 inches long.
Josh has built a reputation for building really good-playing cues for good players. This cue hits great, and will make a very nice everyday cue for someone.
