Recollection Cues

Collectible Cues, Cases & Quality Players

Josh Treadway has ascended to the top tier of cuemakers by means of attention to detail, nice designs, and the ultimate playability of his sticks.  He understands how a cue should hit, and builds that hit into every cue he makes.  Although he makes quite a few high end cues these days, he still is a cuemaker making cues for players.   This is a good example.

This is a basic merry widow style cue, built from a nice piece of bocote with nice grain and figure.  It hits good and looks great.

He builds this stick with a nice set of rings at all locations - above the butt cap, below and above the wrap, at the joint and on the ring collars of the shafts.  The rings highlight and accentuate the pretty grain of the wood, and are perfect for this cue.

I really like this ring pattern - simple ebony and white checks sandwiched between two silver rings.  It's clean and elegant.

He dresses it up with a nice leather wrap that is textured for great feel and a nice look.  The color clearly accents the wood and adds to the beauty of the cue.

The grain in this wood is gorgeous from all angles.  He adds a white elforyn butt cap and matching joint.

He builds this with a flat-faced wood-to-wood joint with a stainless steel radial pin.  He puts the white elforyn sleeve over a wood core to insure a good, solid hit that is not too soft and not too hard.

This stick comes with two 13 mm shafts of top quality maple with Juma ferrules and LePro tips.  It weighs 18.75 ounces.
