I've admired Samsara cues for many years. There doesn't seem to be many of them in the "used" market, and there's a lengthy wait for new ones, so we've done the waiting for you. I'm very impressed with their attention to detail. It's difficult to find an error in workmanship in any of their cues. They also play very well.
Most of all, perhaps, I'm intriqued with their use of the ancient art of intarsia -- the meticulous and creative use of layers of wood to create an overall design. This art is thought to have begun in the Islamic world, but was refined in Northern Italy during the 15th and 16th centuries. (For more on intarsia, click on the underlined word.)
If anyone has any doubt as to the value of Samsara workmanship, they need look no farther than the Chess Set cue collection that was sold to a private collector at the International Cue Collectors Show in Houston in 2007. It brought one of the highest prices ever for an individual set of cues.

This cue makes extensive use of intarsia and is a great example of Samsara's work. The snakewood inlays in the butt sleeve, all highlighted with holly veneers, display intricate detail that morphs into the great overall full fantail design. The triple ring work adds even more detail for a great effect.
