EBONY & SNAKEWOOD STANDOUT |
It's easy to see why I quickly named this striking cue from Chris Nitti the "Standout". It has a butt sleeve and points of some outstanding, highly figured snakewood going into an ebony nose, resulting in a beautiful cue. Best of all, it's a Nitti, and that means the work is virtually perfect, and it hits a ton.

This cue has a classic look that will definitely attract attention wherever it's played. Chris added an ivory joint and a Hoppe-style ivory butt cap, accented by his trademark ringwork. He also finished it with a flawless textured black leather wrap that adds even more to the overall class of this great cue.

This cue is a bit unusual for Chris, in that he created his "veneers" through the process of recut points, recutting the snakewood points into the original holly points. The effect works well, and the result is beautiful cue. The combination of snakewood points into an ebony nose has always been one of my favorites.

The work in all of these Nitti cues is phenomenal. His work is meticulous, and the finish on his cues is as good as it gets. And you really have to play with a Nitti to fully appreciate one. This cue comes with two 13mm shafts with ivory ferrules, uses his flat-faced joint with a radial pin, and weighs 19.8 ounces. It's a great cue for the modest price of $1600.
