Recollection Cues has been one of the few official dealers for Jim Murnak Cue Cases for many years. I believe these cases are among the best on the market when you combine quality with price. There are few cases of similar quality in this price range. Currently, I have only two of his cases, both from the "Vintage line." One is new and one is used. These cases have great attention to detail, and neat features. His Vintage cases are known for all the individually lined and zippered pockets -- six in all. These keeps all your "stuff" from ending up in a pile at the bottom of one or two big pockets. They also have great hardware, tight fits, and a unique strap system with two straps on each case. One can be removed if you only want one.
The leather quality is top-notch, and the workmanship is superb -- every one carefully hand made and finished. The insides (pictured below) are thoughtfully designed and provide outstanding cue protection. (Jim also makes top quality, high end gun holsters, which is his main business.)
One particular feature I like (and I have played out of one for years) is the snap that holds the top on. When you open it, it stays in the open position, and when you bring the top down and put it in place the snap goes back into the closed position automatically.
However, he is not regularly making cases anymore, other than a few for me, and when he does occasionally take an order, there's a long wait. The ones pictured here are available from Recollection Cues TODAY.
