Recollection Cues

Collectible Cues, Cases & Quality Players

Dave has now made fifteen of his 20th Anniversary cues.  He has made several with all ivory points, but has varied the woods in the inlays, so that each cue is unique and different.  All of the cues have the same veneers and ringwork.  I have seen six of them now, and they have all been beautiful.

As with all the Anniversary cues, the wood in the ringwork matches exactly the wood in the veneers - osage orange, purpleheart and ebony. The basic design of this one is eight points up and eight points down - four long and four short each way.

The diamonds inlays inlaid in the base of each long point are purpleheart.  It's a great color combination.

He also uses the same three woods in the scallops between each point as in the veneers and rings.  Each ring is framed on either side by silver.

As with all the Anniversary cues, this one has a top quality black lizard wrap, applied flawlessly.  Dave is one of the best at wraps.  In fact, he's one of the best at everything when it comes to cuemaking.  His traditional "KQ" is engraved in the ivory butt cap.

In spite of how great looking this cue is, the best thing about it is how good it plays.  I like the hit of all Dave's cues, but for some reason these Anniversary cues seem to hit even better.  I don't know what it is, but they hit a ton!

These cues are all built with piloted ivory joints with his 5/16 X 14 pin.  It comes with two 13mm shafts of Dave's top quality wood that have been fifteen years in the aging and cutting process. They are topped with ivory ferrules and Sumo tips - his favorites.  It weighs 19.0 ounces.
This is an outstanding cue - very playable and extremely collectible. There will only be five more of these made.
