This is an unusual old photograph of the July 4, 1910 Jeffries-Jack Johnson heavyweight fight which took place in Reno, Nevada. It's been affixed to the front of a postcard and was mailed from San Francisco, and still has the original postmark and stamp. It's not really a billiard item, but it's typical of the kind of photos you used to find in old pool rooms... along with a few race horse pictures!
(Incidentally, this was one of the most renowned fights in boxing history. If you'd like to read a little bit about it, click here.)
