Recollection Cues

Collectible Cues, Cases & Quality Players

This case is so beautiful that I hardly know how to describe it.  It's a 2X4 brown leather case, but that's like saying a new BMW is a four-door sedan. I think perhaps the pictures tell the story best on this one.

I don't know which one of John's engravers did the work on this one, but he needs to hold onto him.  The tooling is about as exquisite as it gets.  Moreover, just about every square inch is fully tooled.

Perhaps the best part is the color.  The hand-tooled flowers have been dyed with a whole rainbow of colors ... pink, fushia, tan and orange.  Then, they are surrounded and tied together with a leafy pattern in green.

The top is built with John's popular magnetic assisted latch.  One simple motion latches it, and it is then held securely by the embedded magnets under the leather.

The tooling in this one is about as good as it gets.  This case has real pizzaz.  The quality of the leather is also top of the line.

It is built with a strong side handle and strap, with a well-padded shoulder pad that is also fully engraved.

As always, John thinks in terms of beauty and function.  At the foot of this case, he adds his rubber "boot" to keep the case stay nice over time.  It also allows the player to stand it up and lean it against a wall or table without it sliding on the floor.

Inside, it contains John's microfiber interior that provides the best in protection for your cues.  I've seen John put 3 full cues with shafts into this configuration, but I think it works best as a 2X4 or 2X5.  It holds a lot of cues without being overly big on the outside.

He builds this case with one giant pocket that is 24 inches long.  It opens fully and folds back for easy access.  Inside, he includes a number of dividers that attach by velcro and can be moved around (or taken out) to allow you to really organize all your accessories.  It's a GREAT design.

If you're looking for a case that is highly functional and super good-looking, this is it.  It's not cheap, but I think it's a good buy.
