One of only a few solid purpleheart cues made by Andy, this cue was a venture into simple elegance. Beginning with a basic six point design -- three long and three short, each outlined with four layers of veneer -- he then inlaid three small, elongated ivory stars into each of the three long points. These stars are repeated three times in groups of four in the solid purple heart butt sleeve, which is finished with a three-quarter inch ivory ring at the bottom to complement and balance the look of the flat faced ivory joint.

The cue is completed with an unusual ring ensemble of ebony, ivory and purple heart boxes between paper thin ivory rings. This ring is repeated at the joint, butt, and above and below the wrap. The wrap is a medium textured leather of a very unusual grey-olive color.

This cue has two 13mm shafts with micarta ferrules and weighs about 19 ounces. Like all of Andy's cues, it has a player's feel to it, and hits the ball crisply.
