GILBERT 4-POINT WITH YELLOW VENEER

This is another new cue in the "Recollection Cues Series" by Andy Gilbert. This design is made especially for me and has been a very popular design, with Andy varying the colors, woods, and wraps, which keeping the basic design the same.

This is a nice, clean looking cue made for a player who wants an inexpensive cue by a name cuemaker, that looks good and plays great. It's a basic four point design with bright yellow veneers, with subtle gray veneers on either side, that are really striking.

Andy started this cue with a nicely figured piece of birdseye maple and added four points of ebony, outlined with yellow veneers. Then, using an ebony butt sleeve, added the traditional "Recollection Cues" LBM "ivory look-alike" ring at the bottom, aka, a "Hoppe-style" ring. On either side of the ring he uses the same veneers as those outlining the points.

He finished this cue by adding a textured black leather wrap that feels great in your hand. It comes with two 13mm shafts with LBM ferrules and LePro tips, and weighs 19.2 ounces (Butt:15.3, shafts 3.9 each.) It has a flat-faced wood to wood joint with a 3/8 X 10 pin.
