FOUR POINT COCOBOLO/BIRDSEYE CUE WITH GREEN VENEERS BY GILBERT
|
This is another of the special series cues made exclusively for Recollection Cues by Andy Gilbert. Like the others in the series, it has a Hoppe-style butt cap and matching veneers framing the points and the ivory ring. They also all have similar ringwork. This one has a beautiful black, textured calfskin wrap that looks good and feels even better.

The butt sleeve and points are of a nicely figured cocobolo going into a beautiful birdseye maple forearm. The birdseye is really nice in this cue, with lots of little knots to give it a great look. The three-part veneers have green in the middle, which really complements the overall appearance of this cue. The ivory joint adds even a little more flash to this great looking cue.

Like the other cues in this series, this one comes with two 13mm shafts topped with LBM ferrules and LePro tips. It weighs about 19 ounces. It is fitted with a flat faced ivory joint with a radial pin for playability. (I've hit test balls with all these cues, and they play great!) These are great player cues for someone who wants a quality cue by a name cuemaker that looks good, plays great and doesn't cost a ton.)
This one sells for $1,300.
