So, another very special player from David Elliott - this time a cocobolo cue with a curly maple handle. This is a special treat for someone looking for an everyday cue that will play "lights out" and still not bust the budget, especially if you're a fan of wrapless cues.

As always, even though David makes a lot of inexpensive cues, he doesn't scrimp when it comes to his wood choices. The curly maple in this one is incredible - ring after ring in highly figured show quality maple.

And the cocobolo in the handle is not to be out-shown. It has great color and figure and can hold its own against all competitors.

He pulls it all together with a series of ebony rings with white check rings in the middle. He puts them above the butt cap, below and above the handle, at the joint and on the ring collars of the shafts. They look perfect on this cue.

He builds it with a black phenolic butt cap and joint which coordinate perfectly with the black rings.

As with all the cues that come out of the Nitti/Elliott shop, it is built with a stainless steel radial pin in a flat-faced joint. They never mess with the configuration that has insured the same great hit in every cue that comes out of their shop.

It weighs 18.6 ounces (14.9, 3.7, 3.7) and can easily be made a bit heavier if they buyer prefers. It is 58 inches long, and comes with two of his premium maple 13mm shafts with melamine ferrules and layered Wizard medium tips.
This is a great all-around cue that plays well, looks good, and won't bust your budget.
