MIKE DURBIN KINGWOOD CUE

This is a nice player's cue by an up and coming cuemaker from Central Illinois.  I've been watching his work for several years, and over the last couple of years his technique and craftsmanship have really stepped up.  He's making quite a few higher end cues now, but still finding time to make some inexpensive "players" like this one.

Mike's perspective on cue making comes from him being an avid player, and the hit of his cues reflect that.  He places a priority on the soundness and playability of his cues.  This cue is a simple, merry widow design in Kingwood with nice rings at the joint, butt cap, and above and below the wrap. The wood in the nose and butt sleeve is nicely grained, and it's a sharp looking cue that hits very well for a cue in this price range.

This cue is built with a flat faced white phenolic joint with a 3/8 X 11 pin, comes with two 13mm shafts and weighs in at 19.4 oz.  There's a lot of work in this cue for the price.  $650 plus shipping.
