Recollection Cues

Collectible Cues, Cases & Quality Players

Here's a good opportunity for someone to have a very pretty cue from Mike Durbin that doesn't break the bank.  It's a simple merry widow design in birdseye maple with a few fancy touches that make it a special cue.  And best of all, it hits like a Durbin - perfect balance and hit.

Both the nose and the butt sleeve are of pretty birdseye, and the color is nice and crisp.

He adds rings at all the usual locations and they have just enough color to really provide nice highlights to the overall look.  They have red, yellow and green checks between ebony, all centered between two nickel silver rings.

He builds it with a white elforyn butt cap and matching elforyn joint.  Again, the white highlights really give this cue a special appearance.

He applies a white linen wrap with double-speck black.  It looks great on this cue and has a very nice feel to it.

Mike is doing something different now.  Since so many people are asking for extensions for his sticks, he's just building them with an extension bolt in the butt.  In this way, if an owner decides he wants to add an extension later, they can just call Mike and he can send it without having to get the cue sent back and have the change made later.  If it isn't wanted, no problem - it still has a standard rubber bumper on it.

As usual, he engraves his logo/name in the butt cap under the finish.

He builds this with a flat faced joint with a 3/8 X 11 stainless steel pin.  It comes with two 13mm shafts of premium maple with elforyn ferrules and LePro tips.  It weighs 18.5 ounces.  This is a very nice custom built cue that is really sharp looking at a good price.
