Recollection Cues

Collectible Cues, Cases & Quality Players

Eddie Cohen makes great cues.  Pretty, with meticulous work governed by very tight tolerances that insure they hit solid and play great.  Here is yet one more of his sticks that meets all expectations.

As usual, he selected high quality woods that go together well.  This one is of amboyna burl with a solid ebony handle.  The butt sleeve is all amboyna, and the forearm has six points of amboyna into an ebony nose.  The burl has great color and the ebony is so black you can barely see any grain in the wood.  To dress it up he adds a unique set of rings that really stand out and set off the overall appearance of the cue.

He uses a very simple veneer selection for this stick, but it is distinctive and really stands out and gives the whole cue a classy look - just two colors, white and black.

The butt sleeve is all amboyna burl, framed with two of the fancy rings and capped with black delrin for durability.

The effect of these simple black and white veneers on the appearance of this stick is really stunning.  It is traditional and very classy at the same time.

Eddie is known for his unusual and creative ring patterns.  This is one that I haven't seen before, and as usual, it is very classy - white ovals with three connecting white lines.

The ebony handle gives this stick an elegant appearance.  It is subtle, and in the right hands, deadly.

As usual, he engraves his logo/name in the butt cap.

He builds this one with a flat-faced wood-to-wood joint with a stainless steel 3/8X10 pin.  It comes with two 13mm shafts of premium maple, with Tomahawk ferrules and Triangle medium tips.  It weighs 18.9 with one shaft, 19.0 with the other.

This is a very attractive cue with a subtle and classy look.  Best of all, it hits great and will make someone a great playing cue and an everyday companion.
