CHRIS BYRNE
"SNEAKY PETE"
IN MAPLE AND BOCOTE
Here is a rare opportunity for a double-difficult cue to find. First, Chris Byrne makes very few cues (maybe 12-15 a year) and second, he rarely makes a sneaky Pete design in this price range. This cue will go fast, so don't ponder too long.
It is made from dark straight grained bocote with a maple nose. Nothing fancy, just the traditional "Sneaky Pete" design that has great appeal to many people. It can be an everyday cue, or a "car cue" that you take with you on trips or the occasional bar excursion. Either way, you get the benefit of the great Byrne hit that his cues are known for.
Of course, the original concept of a "Sneaky Pete" was that it would be a cue that looked just like a house cue grabbed off the wall unless it was closely inspected. Today, people generally add at least a couple of details to make them more personal and just a little better looking. In this one, Chris adds a couple of simple rings that do just that.

Made from Schmelke blanks, the points are sharp and even.
