Recollection Cues

Collectible Cues, Cases & Quality Players

Here is another flawless merry widow from Doug, this time in luscious cocobolo.  A great wood selection from his vast reserve of outstanding woods make this cue something special.

Doug is known for building beautiful sticks for all types of buyers, but he continues to make a lot of cues for everyday players in an affordable price range.  This one falls into that category.

This one is made from a piece of drop-dead gorgeous cocobolo.  It has a stunning reddish tint with beautiful figure and grain.

Both the forearm and butt sleeve are all cocobolo, and he sets it off with a butt cap and joint of black pheolic for both looks and durability.

Separating the butt cap and joint are two cocobolo rings, each framed with two thin copper rings, inlaid with small copper dots.

In the butt cap he inlays his DB logo.  I love his logo and the way he uses it.  it's always delicate and classy.

This is excellent quality cocobolo - streaked with lots of black, and tons of character.

He finishes it with a pretty black Bison hide wrap - one of my favorite wraps for looks, feel, and durability.

The black wrap was a great choice.  It contrasts perfectly against the deep reddish brown cocobolo.

This cue comes with two 13mm shafts - one of premium standard maple, and one of Keelwood.  It is 59 inches long and weighs 18.5 ounces (14.6, 4.0, 4.0).

This is a classy, very pretty cue that will make a great everyday player for a lucky buyer.
